Mentaily Raises $3M to Advance AI-Powered Mental Health Platform, LIV

Tel Aviv, May 13, 2025 — Mentaily, a rising player in the digital health space, has secured $3 million in seed funding to accelerate the development and deployment of its AI-powered mental health assessment platform, LIV. The round was led by a U.S.-based family office, joined by prominent Israeli family offices, impact funds including The Rashi Foundation and Sheatufim, as well as seasoned angel investors in the digital health sector.

Tackling a Global Mental Health Emergency

Founded in 2024, Mentaily is focused on creating scalable solutions to address the growing global mental health crisis. With mental health disorders sharply increasing—especially in the aftermath of trauma and crisis—the demand for accessible and accurate diagnostic tools has never been higher.

In the U.S. alone, nearly one in five individuals experiences mental health issues, while over 120 million Americans live in areas with inadequate access to mental health care. Mentaily’s innovation seeks to bridge this gap through AI-driven tools that offer both scale and clinical precision.

Introducing LIV: Simulating Psychiatric Intake at Scale

The company’s flagship product, LIV, is a groundbreaking AI platform that simulates full psychiatric intake sessions using natural-language, multilingual conversations via voice or text, optionally supported by an AI avatar. Designed to assist in the diagnosis and triage of psychological distress and mental illness, LIV is positioned to become a key tool in both clinical and emergency settings.

Developed in collaboration with the ARC Innovation Center, the Drora and Pinchas Zakai Department of Psychiatry at Sheba Medical Center, and supported by Microsoft and KPMG, LIV merges clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology.

Proven Impact Across Healthcare Systems

LIV is already deployed in diverse healthcare environments throughout Israel, including hospitals, HMOs, rehabilitation centers, and government agencies. The platform has also been adopted by the Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D) and the Ministry of Defense, providing vital mental health support to members of Israel’s security forces—populations routinely exposed to prolonged trauma and high-stress conditions.

Looking ahead, Mentaily plans to tailor future iterations of LIV for specific populations, including children, adolescents, and women, to better address the nuanced needs of different demographic groups.

Fueling Growth and Global Expansion

The newly raised seed capital will support further product development, enhance clinical capabilities, and fund Mentaily’s international expansion. The company is actively hiring across various roles as it scales operations to meet growing demand in both local and global markets.

“This funding round is a strong vote of confidence in our vision to revolutionize mental health assessment,” said [Mentaily CEO or representative, if known]. “We are committed to making high-quality mental health support more accessible, personalized, and scalable through the power of AI.”
