Limerick, Ireland — As part of a nationwide campaign to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health, around 40 dedicated motorcyclists are set to arrive in Limerick later this week. The riders are participating in Jigsaw’s Grand Tour 2025, a multi-day journey visiting all 14 Jigsaw services across Ireland.
Their stop at the Jigsaw Limerick service, located on the 3rd Floor of Arthur’s Quay House, Arthur’s Quay, is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at 3:30 p.m. This visit marks a significant moment in the tour’s mission to support young people’s mental well-being.
Led by Damian Sheridan, whose personal commitment fuels this initiative, the Grand Tour aims to highlight the growing need for mental health support among Ireland’s youth. The event is supported by main sponsors Joe Duffy BMW and Carole Nash Ireland, whose backing helps amplify the reach and impact of the campaign.
Jigsaw’s presence in Limerick has been instrumental in providing essential mental health services. In 2024 alone, the local service facilitated over 2,540 appointments for young people seeking support. This vital work depends heavily on the generosity of supporters, fundraisers like Sheridan and his fellow riders, and the continued partnership of sponsors.
Jigsaw, Ireland’s National Centre for Youth Mental Health, offers free, confidential mental health advice and therapy to young people aged 12 to 25, as well as support and guidance for their families and those who work with them. Services are available both online and through physical centres nationwide. With demand for these services increasing, initiatives like the Grand Tour 2025 are crucial in sustaining and expanding access to care.
As mental health challenges among youth continue to rise, Jigsaw’s Grand Tour serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of community support and awareness in ensuring that young people across Ireland receive the help they need.
