MISSOULA, Mont. – Missoula County is now accepting applications for grants from its Mental Health Fund, which aims to enhance local behavioral health services.
The fund supports critical services, including crisis intervention and stabilization for both adults and children experiencing mental health crises. It provides financial assistance for various needs such as operations, personnel, direct services, training, and planning.
For fiscal year 2026, up to two organizations will be awarded grants, with a total funding pool of $132,838 available.
Commissioner Juanita Vero highlighted the importance of the fund, saying, “Missoula County’s Mental Health Fund is a great opportunity to provide gap funding for local crisis services. These services are crucial for providing stability and supporting our continuum of care for people in crisis.”
