Pilsen Nonprofit Awarded $10,000 Grant for MTV’s Mental Health Action Day

CHICAGO — Salud, a nonprofit organization based in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, was the sole recipient in the city to receive a $10,000 grant from MTV’s Mental Health Action Day initiative.

The funding supported an event held Thursday night, featuring art, music, and open conversations aimed at raising awareness about mental health in the Latino community.
